Dollan Ferinal is the cute Co-Owner of the Steam Spot. An archmagus some days, and fae creature on others. Dollan is far from a bundle of mystery, though some might call them trouble. Fun loving, affable, and willing to protect their charges from the harms of the world, Dollan is easy to talk to, and wants nothing more than for everyone to have a safe, happy, and fun time. Watch out for their Axe, that's when things get serious!

Lucianne is the gentler half of the Steam Spot, sweet and friendly but quiet and a little shy. A scholar of the arcane and a self-professed bookworm, she loves to hear new stories and learn about other people and places, but can be slow to open up. She deeply loves her friends and can be fiercely protective, but usually tries to offer a comforting hug or soothing word before looking for a more explosive solution.

Xilarilya is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Chaotic, bubbly, and prone to flights of fancy one moment. Then the next wise like a woman that traveled to the end of time and hung out for a second...or an eternity; it is hard to tell at times end. She enjoys conversation, is quick to joke, and will often engage if you linger around her quite too long. Wallflowers beware, she loves to pick them off the wall and put them on display for everyone to see.

Shoji

Not the average Lalafell, Shoji spends his time exploring Eorzea, getting into trouble and picking fight way to big for him. Though he always prevails, a surprising tale as the lad has little to no Aetheric abilities. Along with his absurd height and stocky build, he sports a pair of Fox ears, which help him keep track of conversations. Though he looks intimidating, he is a kindhearted, chivalrous fellow, always keeping an eye on others and making sure everyone has an enjoyable time.

Flirty and playful, Robin is a performer most of all; which she channels into dancing or stripping. Quick with a greeting, she wants to make everyone feel welcome. An exhibitionist at heart, don't be surprised if she is nude or 'servicing' a client in the open; she gets off on that.

If the phrase "There is a method to the madness" existed in form, it would be Doc. Despite his crazy antics he never once turned a blind eye to lending a helping hand or keep company with the lonesome. To most he is described as a patient and mindful small fellow. Having grown up around ingenuity all his life, he spends most of his free time assembling machinery with the designs being improvised thanks to his obsession with Alexander. When not occupied he can usually be found lounging back listening to music.

Rules of the Spot

  1. The Steam Spot and it's Discord server are intended for patrons who are 18 years of age or older. Absolutely no underage persons or characters are permitted within this discord or allowed to take part in club activities. If you are under the age of 18, kindly see yourself out.

  2. The Steam Spot encourages its patrons to feel free to ERP in public chat channels if they so desire but please keep more extreme kinks or fetishes to private chats such as party chat or /tells. Additionally, any ERP conducted in the club's outdoor area must be kept to private channels for the safety of our patrons.

  3. The Steam Spot recognizes that consent is king and communication is queen. No means no, respect others boundaries. If someone tells you to stop, you stop. If you continue to force the issue you will be removed from the premises.

  4. The Steam Spot's syncshell is open to all patrons. On that note, please use VFX and SFX mods responsibly. Spamming of disruptive animations or sounds will result in a warning which could lead to a ban should the behavior continue. If you see anything you find disagreeable over our syncshell, we encourage you to open the Mare Synchronos menu, pause the offending individual and move on.

  5. The Steam Spot is a hate free environment. We maintain a zero tolerance policy for any form of harassment or discrimination against anyone on based on age, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion or political ideology. This is a place to have fun, not to cause harm. As part of that, please keep any discussion of real world politics and religion out of the venue and out of the discord. Discussing in game religions and politics is fine, but the real deal can be dicey.

  6. The Steam Spot's anti-discrimination rules extend to player character representation. Our doors are open to all 18+ characters regardless of race or character design. This includes our Lalafell friends, and folks whose modded designs fall outside standard FFXIV racial types. This protection does not include characters who appear to be or are RP'd as underaged. As stated in Rule #1, this venue is adults only.

  7. The Steam Spot is first and foremost an RP venue. If you disrupt that either through disruptive behavior or mods that break that immersion (e.g. modding yourself into characters from other properties like Marvel, Star Wars, etc.) you will be asked to stop. If you do not stop, you will be asked to leave. If you do not leave on your own you will be removed.

  8. These rules are subject to the whims of the Owner and Management and may change at any given time based on abuses of privilege or actions which are deemed unacceptable. We apologize if anything offends you, we encourage you to contact a staff member if you are made uncomfortable and all rules modifications will be announced via appropriate channels.
